My name is Herb Escamilla and I am from Chicago, IL. My family is originally from El Salvador, but moved to the United States before I was born. I was raised with Spanish spoken in my home and that is how I learned it. Part of my love for teaching Spanish stems from sharing the Latin American and Spanish culture with my students. I am dual-certified in both Spanish and English and have been teaching Spanish for 15 years. I have a Masters degree in English and a Specialist degree in Education. I teach levels I, II, Honors II, and Honors III. I am also the boys' JV soccer coach and am very happy and proud to be a part of the Wolfpack!
